THE BRIEF

This town-centre property with over 95 bedrooms had just invested significantly to convert part of its under-performing Food & Beverage and Function Space into additional bedrooms. Their goal was to become an accommodation-led property, but they lacked the skills needed on-property to optimise their revenue strategy and exploit their new inventory.

They appointed MavREV to provide an outsourced revenue management service to help their team deliver their revenue goals whilst further establishing their position as a great value, premium hotel in the local market.

OUR APPROACH AND RESULTS

MavREV created and delivered a bespoke revenue strategy which increased this property’s Average Daily Rate (ADR) by 10% and grew accommodation revenue by £334k. We achieved these fantastic results by:

  • Conducting a thorough benchmarking exercise to redefine the competitive landscape
  • Adjusting their pricing strategy to incorporate new inventory
  • Automating distribution of availability and prices to each distribution channel via their Channel Manager, Property Management System (PMS) & Revenue Management System (RMS)
