HELLO, I’M DOMINIC

A very warm welcome to MavREV, where we are committed to providing exceptional revenue management expertise to independent hotels, inns and serviced apartments. I founded MavREV in 2016 after realising that many smaller, independent properties are missing out on reaching their true revenue potential because they don’t know how to utilise revenue management strategies.

Whilst revenue management is an established and essential function in a hotel, most solutions in the market are too complex or too expensive for the types of properties I love to see thrive. MavREV successfully fills this gap; our clients enjoy an accessible, affordable and valuable revenue management service tailored specifically to their needs and revenue goals!

MY MISSION

My mission is to make revenue management expertise accessible to all properties – the hospitality industry is incredibly tough and more independent properties need the opportunity to succeed!”

15 YEARS & COUNTING IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

My passion for hotels began when I was a teenager and my first job was a Kitchen Porter, later a Waiter, a Receptionist and eventually whilst I was studying at University I became an Assistant Manager. However, upon graduation my career took a turn towards Commercial Banking, but I soon returned to my favourite world of hospitality as a Revenue Manager!

Fast forward 15 years and revenue management is my passion – it combines my talent for data and strategising, and connects me to the people-centric, fast-paced hotel industry that I love. I’ve worked in large hotels and progressed to a Director of Revenue Management at a regional hotel group before founding MavREV. In 2020 I was awarded the Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) certification.

MY INTERESTS

“I am a HUGE Newcastle United supporter, a keen player of FPL (Fantasy Premier League) and I also enjoy listening to podcasts, such as The Diary Of A CEO, On Purpose and High Performance. Each of these and revenue management are my favourite topics of conversation!”
